pickThis book has a very special place in my heart, up until 6th grade I hated reading. I didn't enjoy the time it took or the effort. On Thanksgiving of 2002 I chose to sit down and read for the first time a book my school wasn't making me read. I finished it in 6 hours. Flash forward to 2016, I can't pass a bookstore without going in, I can't live without a book in my purse.

Adena I have seriously considered getting a Harry Potter themed tattoo. That's how much I love this series. Luckily my son seems to feel the same way about it, and finished them all in the 3rd and 4th grades. 8y
Suekreynolds I read it to both my kids before the movies were out. They both grew up reading and listening to the audiobooks. Some of my favorite memories are of us driving around listening to the remarkable Jim Dale finish a chapter. I feel lucky there were growing up at the best time. 😊 8y
VioletSelene @Suekreynolds The Harry Potter audiobooks were my first time listening to Jim Dale and he was absolutely magnificent! If you're going on a long road trip and you haven't listened to the HP audiobooks, you really should! 8y
