J. D. Barker's books are usually a 5 ⭐️ for me, but this one hit at 3.5⭐️. I don't know what was different about it, other than him writing with Findorff. It just wasn't as well written as Barker's other books. There was a lot of dialogue that I was not sure was actually needed for the book. I usually don't figure out the person with one of his books, either, but I figured out one of the bad people pretty quickly. ⬇️
