pickLoved it! The focus of the book is on the lives of the people who built, owned, crewed and sailed aboard the Titanic. Voyagers of the Titanic was written with such detail that it allowed me to gain a clearer understanding of the class stratification aboard. Ironically, in the end it was not class that determined whether a soul had the best chance of being saved; it was gender (and to an extent which side of the boat you chose to board a lifeboat).
