Mehso-so

I was finally in the mood to start these again. I think at this point I've made peace with the fact that I only really read these for the B plot with the dark elves, and to see what my favorite assassin is up to and his character development through the series. if it were not for those things I would not bother with this series at all. When Salvator wants to be good, he is SO good, but most of these books feel like mediocre shlock.

Doppoetry I'm beginning to think that Salvatore does not keep any notes because MC is going back and forth between subjects that I thought he already went through “This guy is my friend“ in one book “this guy is my Enemy“ in a different book “this guy is okay, actually but I still hate him but I like him but I hate him“ on a loop. It drives me crazy every time.

Doppoetry MC's asides between chapters are also hypocritical at best while trying to be deep but failing. The writing is so juvenile and pretentious.

It's been years since I read this #standalone zombie book, but I recall it being a very slow burn that I couldn't put down. A close examination of death and grief that stops just short of being a full zombie apocalypse story.

I don't care how foolish this is. I love this series. And this is the sixth (and final?) book. There are definitely gators in this but they may not be on leashes.

5feet.of.fury Oh wow! I never read this one, I really liked that series I thought there were only 5! 9mo

I've been dragging my feet with this series *again* really need to motivate myself to get back into it, before RAS releases 10 more books 😅

Ignoring the fact I read the series in the wrong order due to not being able go get a copy of the first book until last, this was a great novel. It portrays the first RE game so well and I loved the puzzles and action, though I do wish the fight scenes were more detailed. I loved Jill as usual, she's so brave and badass. 4/5 🌟

This volume develops more of Martha, or Em's story. Things are getting tense, a few hidden secrets about the Revivers are uncovered, and the "glowing man" makes his presence known to more people.

Lots of action, lots of gore, and a really good story are all making me want to do nothing else but read this series.

Revival continues to be a gruesome read with great characters and story building. This volume offers more questions than answers, but you can tell it's building to something quite climatic. We are introduced to a few more Revivers and I'll admit, the character list is growing a bit overwhelming, but I'm hoping the next volume eliminates a few. 😉
