Has anyone seen this series? It looks pretty good from the clips I have seen. I wasn‘t a fan of the movie but this looks like it has more to the series and a little darker.

I remember reading these when I was younger and never finishing the series. I'm finally starting it again and what makes it so much more special is I'm reading them with my sons before bedtime. We loved Book No. 1 and can't wait to start Book 2.

As a child I remember enjoying reading but not caring to, if that makes sense haha! I loved the Frablnklin books in Elementary and then when Middle school came around the Spiderwick chronicles caught my eye. As I got older I remember being drawn to the fun pretty covers and that's when I picked up the Princess Diaries from the school library. I remember thinking I was so cool carrying around that pink cover haha. 👑
I wish these had been around when I was a kid! I enjoyed my adult read of them, but I can tell these would have sparked that special kid magic if I‘d read them when I was young.
@Nazgul93 Thanks for choosing these for me for #TrappedOnAnIsland this month! There have been used copies of them unread on my shelves for years and this was the perfect moment to pick them up.
Can‘t remember the last time I read with an actual flashlight. Probably as a kid. But in honor of #spookyseason I‘m reviving the tradition. #Scarathlon2022 #TeamMonsterMash @StayCurious
I loved all of the Spiderwick Chronicles so I knew I would like this one too. It was very good. Short like the originals as well. And bonus for this 80's kid, Andrew McCarthy was the narrator. A.K.A. Blaine from Pretty in Pink. (Among other movie roles.) It was a fun listen.
#TBRPile 📚 It all started when Jared Grace found Great-uncle Arthur‘s Field Guide and the Grace kids realised they were not alone in their new house. Now Mallory, Simon, and Jared want to tell their story but it seems that the faeries will do everything in their power to stop them...
My son enjoyed the first and we ended up right into the second! Not much happens within each book, but he enjoys them. The pictures are beautiful!
So far we‘re loving these. Book one is halfway done, and I‘m wondering how they‘re going to stuff more adventures into it. ‘Lil loved the movie and was so excited to hear they were books first.
