pickLike a Wilco song this just washed over me in the best of ways. I‘m not at the point of writing a song, but could relate his feelings and ideas to my other creative practices! And he is so right when he says every one of us should experience creating something.

so-soHere‘s my review for this book that I won from a Goodreads giveaway in 2021. I chose this for my mood read prompt for #bookspinbingo. Either way, it‘s off of my physical TBR now.
I listened to the second chapter of this book at the dog park today with my dog. I‘m slowly making progress in this book. The chapters are kind of long so I feel like I can‘t listen to more than 1 chapter at a time. I think that this would be a good book for people who are fans of hers. It‘s an interesting book but it‘s not about songwriting. It‘s more of a memoir. I‘m not a fan of hers so I don‘t feel invested in the story yet.
I‘m reading the tagged book right now and it has her music in it. I found out that each chapter is named after one of her songs and she sings the song at the end of each chapter. I only listened to the first chapter. I don‘t know if I‘m going to like her music or not. I like discovering new music. Am I going to finish this book? I don‘t know yet but after only hearing 1 chapter, I thought it was interesting.

I started the tagged book. This author mentioned that she‘s southern but she didn‘t mention what state she‘s from and she mentioned that a lot of artists covered her songs so I was thinking,”Ok. If you‘re so well known like you say you are then where are you from and which artists have covered your songs?” So I did a Google search. She‘s from Louisiana and her website says all the artists that have covered her songs. I don‘t know who she is.
I started this book on my walk today at the dog park with my dog. I only read the first chapter. This is a memoir about a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter. I‘ve been watching the Grammy‘s my whole life and I‘ve never heard of her. I‘ve never heard her music. She sang a song of hers in the first chapter. I don‘t know what to think about her music but I‘m going to keep reading this book. This is an interesting book. It‘s just different.
