pickMy kids thoroughly enjoyed this book, the pictures and the story. When I read it to them they felt the plight of the Fox family and the other creatures, and because of that they became invested in the tale.
Was it as clever as the movie? No, but I rather enjoyed it myself. I think I do prefer the movie to the book because it seemed to expand on what was given here, but it was entertaining to read.
Roald Dahl is one of my favorites to read.
