panRead this for Banned Books Week and because of Great American Read. Maybe this is a case of a book that needs younger eyes rather than older ones. Appears people either love it or hate it. Quite frankly I found it a slog. Finally gave up, read cliffsnotes, skimmed and read the final couple of chapters.
