pickThis is a book for everyone, so you don‘t have to believe in something specific in order to read it. I liked it more the second time I read it. Tom is an emotionally intelligent man seeking to understand different perspectives on religion as he travels through the U.S. interviewing people. He diversified the religions or his interviews. There are no conversion requirements. I am still not religious, but I feel like it was worth reading.

Yeah, I realize and readily admit a couple of things re: this post.
No, (1) the purple trees likely have nothing to do with this book but I have been saving it for a Litsy post (yay!), and
(2) this title is not on the ToB long list. Oh well!
A friend that I highly respect offered this title to me and now, 25% in, I am loving it. Witty banter, woman with a big heart, on a mission to fulfill a promise made to her nonagenarian BFF? YAAAS - all in.

pickFun YA read! When impulsive Rosie discovers the love of her life with another girl, she lights afire a box filled with mementos of their relationship in his driveway! Suddenly his car blows up and she‘s facing a restraining order and a court date…great characters, well-written.

#CampLitsy24 this book is set where I vacation often! I thought I would show people what the ferry life is like - as a user not a worker.
This year I am spending a week on Whidbey which is a different island then Sam's Shaw
Right now we are lined up waiting for the ferry, my reservation leaves in 2 hours so I park my car in the line up, and then I walk to a cute little town to get a coffee and something to eat while I read this book and wait!
pick#ReadAway2024 I‘m not usually a romance reader but I really enjoyed this sweet story with parallel romances. It was a little, okay a lot, more spicy than I expected, but that‘s not a complaint. Romance for the sake of romance is boring. But this romance had a plot. Recommended.
