TheAromaofBooks I tried to mix in some new prompts, shuffle some prompts into different months, and move them all around 😂 But there will definitely be lots of repeats from last year because I do NOT have the creativity to come up with 300 new prompts every year haha 2mo

And/or prompts for them? I thought about categories or doing them by genre and you can only use a book from that genre to check the prompt? So the crime board can only be cleared with mystery/thrillers. But is that too limiting? 2mo

Lauredhel @TheAromaofBooks just here to vote against specific-genre cards! One thing I love about this challenge is that you are free to use books from any genre. (Mainly just don't make me read a whole card of crime books, or worse, Literary) 2mo

OriginalCyn620 I do like the idea of genre cards. For example, I read mostly mystery/thriller and romance, so I‘d concentrate on those two mostly. But all genres are possible boards - fantasy, horror, science fiction, nonfiction, etc., so there can be a potential genre specific board for everyone, no matter they like to read! And they‘re bonus boards so it should be low pressure anyway! Also, you can make those smaller - 3x3 or 4x4 2mo

OriginalCyn620 Other ideas: 1) animal theme with domestic, wild, and exotic animals 2) Around the World - settings or authors from various countries (maybe represent all 7 continents) 3) foodie board - certain foods on the cover, cooking plays a central part of the plot, or an MC is a chef, etc 4) an I Spy about the actual books themselves - Deckled edges, signed editions, painted edges, special editions, book that was gifted to you, built in bookmark, etc 2mo

LiseWorks I love the Genra idea, even if it takes a year to clear the board. What about a series board. I read a lot of series books. A prompt, and it belongs to a series. 2mo

willaful I like all the ideas. I can ignore the genres I don't read much. (I feel you about literary @Lauredhel ! 😆 )

I enjoyed the smaller bonus boards we had last year. 2mo

TheAromaofBooks @OriginalCyn620 - Oh my gosh, you have so many fun ideas!!! I was thinking of Down on the Farm with things like farm animals, tractors, vegetables, etc. Birthday Bash with things like cake, balloons, confetti, etc. On the Road with things like different kinds of vehicles and landmarks. More ideas than I probably can wrestle into usability 😂 2mo
