My favorite comfort food to make is spaghetti carbonara. It might not be up to an Italian Nonna‘s standards since I make it with bacon instead of pancetta or guanciale, but it‘s freaking delicious just the same. If anyone wants my recipe, let me know!

I LOVE pasta, could eat it every day. It‘s the best kind of comfort food. Carbonara is my fave but I also make a mean Alfredo. Nothing like curling up with a warm bowl of pasta and a good book! 🧈🧀🍜😋

pickJace & I read these for #foodandlit this month. Strega Nona is set in Italy for #Jubilee - and the others are all set in The Netherlands. Strega Nona was very cute, and I also really liked The Hero of Little Street, which has no words but is quite the adventure when a little boy gets sucked into a 17th century painting in Holland. 🇮🇹🇳🇱
