Historical romance is definitely my favorite kind of romance.
Read this for book club and loved it 💕
Also, the heroine is named Jennifer! 😃

I am enjoying this book SO much!
TRUE enemies to lovers:
“And in that unlikely moment, as she held his dagger poised high, ready to strike, Royce thought she was the most magnificent creature he‘d ever beheld; a wild, beautiful, enraged angel of retribution, her chest rising and falling with fury as she courageously confronted an enemy who towered over her.”
If he‘s not thinking of how beautiful I am as I‘m about to kill him, he‘s not the one.
I've tried to read so many old school romances for a variety of podcasts and you know what? This one is the one that has hit. I am delightfully surprised by it!
Fated Mates warned that a bad thing happened to a horse and BOY they weren't kidding. RIP Thor
Historical romance says "Don't try this at home."
Like Hawk, this took a long time to get get into the relationship. I still enjoyed it but it didn‘t keep me reading until the wee hours of the night like some books do.
#currentlyrereading | Was in the mood for something adorable, & then found this old fave! One of the first romances I ever read, back when I was a wee teen ☺️♥️
I thoroughly enjoy retellings of old fairy and folk tales, and this version of The Pied Piper of Hamlin does not disappoint. Dickerson has taken the bones of the story about the piper who leads a horde of rats out of the city of Hamlin by enchanting them with his piper music and added some very interesting twists that engage the reader right away. Strong female protagonist is a plus.
This Pied-Piper reimagining (blended with the story of the Prodigal Son) is a delight. #wintergames #merryreaders #tbrread
