so-soI made the mistake of picking up this book before Oryx and Crake, not realizing it was part of a trilogy. Also, the passages written by Adam One I just couldn't stomach. I felt like I was glimpsing an alternate reality, which made me uncomfortable, because in a strange way it is possible. Otherwise, the story was engaging and fascinating.
