The Rooster Prince of Breslov is a hilarious read with some great messages. The story of a boy deciding he is a rooster just works really well somehow. As the author discusses in the afterword, it works well as a coming of age story and as a story about teaching others by speaking to them on their level. Recommended.
“And sometimes, when the sky was blue and the sun was high and he heard his own son whistling a tune, he almost forgot that he has ever been a rooster.”

#hpchapteraday #maturity & the lack thereof are illustrated here-Hermione's maturity in her organization & planning, impending maturity in being faced with career choices, lack of maturity in Harry's risk taking to talk to Sirius, & both in the twins antics & in their taking their future into their own hands. As an adult & a mom these peeks back to the maturity & immaturity of youth is a good reminder to be empathetic while keeping standards
Not very mature, Professor Snape, no matter how embarrassed you are. Yes Harry shouldn't have peaked a look, or sneaked into your secrets. But who's the adult here? Also, aren't you a tiny bit glad Harry saw his father as he truly was? An obnoxious and arrogant spoiled brat. I appreciate your snark, and accept your prejudice, but this unprofessionalism is hard to ignore.
