pickStories set in the West normally never draw me in at all. Seven or eight years ago I read this book and gave it two stars, remembering little about it. Oh how my reading tastes have changed! I‘m still not drawn to western settings, but the literary style of Enger is exquisite. The ending is worth every page leading up to it. #mmdbookclub #peacelikeariver #leifenger #grovepress
