Today‘s haiku is inspired by one of my sheroes, Dame Jane Goodall who passed away yesterday at the age of 91. What a woman & champion of the world, animals, food sustainability & conservation. My heart is sad. 😢
Champion for earth,
A voice for all living things
Rest in peace, dear Jane

“Let us develop respect for all living things.
Let us try to replace violence and intolerance with understanding and compassion.
And love.”
This children's book illustrates the life of Jane Goodall and her desire to help animals. The illustrations are warm and feel heartfelt. The images on the writing page are detailed and realistic. It is a perfect balance of imagination and realistic pictures. The colors balance the book perfectly, making the reader feel welcomed and warm throughout.

In this brief autobiography, Jane shares captivating stories about her experiences working with the chimpanzees, her educational journey, her marriages, and the birth of her son, Hugo. Jane also delves into critical issues such as climate change, illegal hunting, and the detrimental impact of industrialization on the chimpanzee population.
