Last year I upgraded to a Kindle Voyage, but I don‘t like the way the buttons work and other stuff. Sooooo ... as soon as I opened the email about the new Paperwhite, I jumped right on it. I‘m trading in my Voyage and paying in installments. Yippee!!

Kaye I‘ve been pondering trading my PW in, hoping they‘d make one that works with Audible. I may just jump on this one myself. Thinking on it. Wish it came in white , but that‘s no dealbreaker. 6y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @BethM I wrote this post too fast!i have a Voyager not an Oasis. It‘s got weird page change actions and seems.heavy. This one has all the advantages I couldn‘t afford with the Oasis, but without the big price tag. Sorry to be confusing! 6y

BarbaraTheBibliophage @JenIsAlwaysReading I‘ve heard good things about the Oasis. But the money is just more than I‘m okay with. I got $75 for my Voyage trade-in. They applied $25 to the new Kindle and I get a $50 gift card. Also 6 mos free Kindle Unlimited. So ... lots of good numbers there. 6y

Maewyn The fire is okay but I need a new cover. The magnet on the current one is so strong that when I flip the front back behind to read on it the magnet makes the device think the cover is on it and it shuts it off. I have to use it with the cover flapping loose currently so I find myself reading on my phone. 6y
