I‘ve had this plant for years. It has flowered! The flower is so dainty. I didn‘t realise it could. It gets a water every few months. It thrives on lack of love or maybe it just likes being near my feminist shelf.

This was literally one of my favorite autobiographies I‘ve ever read. She was like you think this is a book about me?? PSYCH!! I‘m using my platform to talk about all the BIPOC women who influenced me and showing you their work. Beautifully done.
absolute killer of a dedication. this book allows us to journey with Gloria as she reveals the extraordinary in ordinary life and her call to action for the freedom of all. she shares her life as a global freedom fighter, inviting readers to continue the journey - and the struggle. a revolutionary woman who helped steer the women‘s movement while acknowledging her privilege as a white woman to take on that role.
Yay! Finally got Bingo for a month, #bookspin #bookspinbingo Not sure what next month will hold since my thesis proposal is due. Looking forward to getting more time to read...especially as I continue to buy more books than I can read
“In truth, we don‘t know which of our acts in the present will shape the future. But we have to behave as if everything we do matters. Because it might.” I‘ve had this book on my shelf forever. So happy I finally took the time to read it (we‘ll re-read since I started it years ago). I really loved learning more about Steinem‘s activism & all she‘s accomplished. I was finally able to get bingo for the month #bookspinbingo
Gloria Steinem is just magic. I loved this book about her life and her activism. If you're looking for something easy and inspirational, this is a great choice.

@Eggs I missed some days of Winds of March. I had a bit of a health issue, but am now back. Behind on some book reviews too.
Hope you had a great weekend!
My #bookspin list for the month of March. I made it intentional to have all books by women or about women for Women‘s History month. Looking forward to getting to read a few of these this month. #bookspinbingo
On sale on kindle in the US today. I really liked this book when I listened to it, her stories of her travels and the people she‘s meet on the way who influenced her made for a great read.
