I‘m rather disappointed in The Prestige, considering I love the movie. This may be the first time I prefer the movie over the book.
This book is difficult to read, hence why I took to Audible. Yet I still found myself zoning out numerous times.
It didn‘t get sitting-on-the-edge-of-your-seat interesting until the last 3 chapters. Then it suddenly ended. I would‘ve liked a bit more explanation.

pickShort story collections are always fun! The first story was a bit difficult to get into, as it was set in what seemed to be an alternative Middle Earth, or a very evolved one. It turned into a great story by the end. There were only a few stories I didn't enjoy, but there were some others that challenged my brain in the best of ways. This book introduced me to many authors and reintroduced me to a few. I highly recommend it to any fantasy lovers.
