pickEven though the book was fairly predictable I enjoyed reading about The Alice Network and all they did during World War I. The author easily transitioned to and from both time periods and the two storylines tied together well. Charlie's storyline is purely fiction while Eve's is more about The Alice Network. Strong female characters. The excerpt so that you know what was purely fiction and what was closer to the truth was nice.
