In some ways I feel like this opens the opportunity to expand even more on the world and I'm not sure what will happen in the final installment of BoD. pick3.5 stars - It had me gripped from the start, though the dark materials is one of my favourites from childhood. Malcolm is the hero of the story and is embroiled in a story of espionage, danger and secrets. The story is set in the past when Lyra, from his dark materials is only 6 months. I would most definitely read a part 2 to this story 👏. #bookofdust #phillippullman #bookworm #booknerd
pickI had been anticipating this book since its announcement, and Mr. Pullman did not disappoint. I can remember picking out His Dark Materials and reading all three books within in a week while I was in the second grade. I‘ve never experienced a world as engrossing as the one that exists in these books, and Dust pulled me right back in. Gorgeously written story. Did anyone else struggle to pick out their daemon?
