LOVED it! The sequel to This Poison Heart gave me exactly what I‘d wanted out of the story. As Briseis struggled with the loss of her mom, she has hope that she can get better back only by following Hecate‘s wish. She must bring the pieces Absyrtus‘ Heart back together. Set off to do this impossible task with her Auntie Circe and gf Marie, they find out that they have to travel across the Black Sea to find what they‘ve been looking for.

“7 days to fall in love, 15 years to forget, and 7 days to get it all back again.“ Eva, a single mom and bestselling erotica writer is feeling pressed from all sides. Shane, a reclusive, enigmatic, award-winning novelist is a loner. They meet unexpectedly at a literary event.
It is so much more than a romance novel and still a romance novel. Great characters, lot of themes, great relationships, bookish setting, good pace, good ending.
4/5🌟

After mostly stepping away from romance, I‘ve been slowly creeping back…

Kennedy Ryan seems to be a big favorite and I‘m starting to see why. Loving this!

S3V3N I loved this book. 2d

It was good, a little overloaded between the plot & the magic system (a few things seemed convoluted). The characters were relatable & the metaphor to real world prejudice & atrocities came across well.

Audio. Jamaican island inspired story against dragon rider colonization? Amazing. The aspects of such were well written. The characters themselves, the sisters, were great apart. Together, I got lost to where the plot was going when they were split between their islands. First half was difficult to stay focused with, though the closing twists had me stop in my tracks. This was a fun listen and I‘m intrigued how the sequel will go about it all.

I almost never finish memoirs but I read this one compulsively. I follow the author on several platforms and have read his poetry. Recommend unless you are not down for graphic kinky gay sex.

Apparently I was really feeling "purple books" this month. Sunrise on the Reaping (which comes out Tuesday!!!) even fits this theme.

My spring break for work is coming up soon so ?? I can knock these out.

Really good but needed more Selwyn IMO. The added POVs were great, Deonn did a really good sort of recap at the beginning for where Bree, Sel, Nick & the order left off. Bree finds she can‘t run from her heritage as more secrets and injustices are revealed. Can‘t wait to see what‘s next
