Great guide to yokai!(Japanese monsters) and how to survive them!
Great guide to yokai!(Japanese monsters) and how to survive them!
Great collection of fantasy creatures for the gurps rpg series!
This is a good introduction to Japanese horror and provided a lot of detail on the history of the cat myths as well as example stories. The illustrations were also nice.
3/5 read for good history of mythology but don‘t expect a lot of lyricism in the tales.
I finally started unpacking all of the little treasure for my living room!

Thanks for the tag @dabbe 😀
1. It's not terribly original, but it's hard to beat a dragon. Or maybe a sea serpent - I love to swim, and I could hang out in Lake Champlain with our own resident monster, Champ (though I guess that would make me a lake serpent 🐍 🤔).
2. The tagged book has ALL the creatures! 🐲🐉🧛♀️👾👻

Love this! @TheSpineView
1. a Yuki Onna (the Japanese Snow Woman) 😎 or a vampire.
2. so many! tons of bestiaries - the tagged one is one of my favourites. in fiction, there are loads as well: American Gods, Dracula, Carmilla, Thistlefoot, Folklore - a Dark Anthology, Swamplandia!, Spirits Abroad, the Odyssey, fairy tale collections, so many ghost stories, etc. etc. etc.
