A day off this close to Christmas means baking and wrapping. Well, I had just enough flour for a double batch of these guys, and about half the wrapping is done. But it‘s been a very relaxing day otherwise. Plus I got my call to schedule my vaccine and nailed down the last slot at my hospital for that day. So even though I have to go back in the evening after working all day, at least I don‘t have to drive further to the other location. 😁

CocoReads @Crazeedi, we do too. My sister makes cut out cookies better than me. I don‘t have the patience for them. I used to make a ton of cookies and then gave most of them away. But anymore, I don‘t have the time and we certainly don‘t need the calories and sugar. So I‘ve just been making these the last couple of years. 4y

Crazeedi @CocoReads we used to have a "cookie day" and make tons together. Not so much any more . It was always just fun to do with daughters and sisters. I dont do much either cause we cant eat them all! I give away lots! 4y

CocoReads I have a friend that used to own a restaurant, for a few years we got together on a Monday when they were closed to use the commercial ovens and churn out a gazillion cookies. But I haven‘t been able to do that for a few years and it also got to be really expensive and labor intensive. And this year, no one can get together so it‘s back to baking at home! 4y
