Australian poverty, drugs, prison, literature, mystery, addressing big questions like “What makes a good man?” And a splash of fantasy (although I don‘t think fantasy is a good enough descriptor).... all set in my neighbouring suburbs so very familiar. I‘ll be recommending this one to everyone and reading Dalton‘s newspaper columns.
