pickA theme of Kristin Hannah‘s books seems to be about women fighting for survival against all odds. #TheFourWinds may be my favourite novel of her. It deals with The Great Depression, poverty, migration and the worker‘s movement. I raced through it, not wanting it to end. Gorgeous writing, and you should bring tissues.
