pickI very much enjoyed the final book in the Three Dark Crowns series, though the ending did leave me a bit flat. It tied up every loose end but I can‘t say it was a happy ending at all, it was dark & bloody but wasn‘t most of the series? Bk1of my #24B4Monday #readathon is finished. pickA new classic of the true crime genre. I think Truman Capote, who is referenced numerous times in this book, would approve. I wonder how this would have turned out had Michelle lived to see the capture of GSK, but given the circumstances I believe she would have been proud of how her posthumous collaborators put together the story. The details of GSK‘s crimes are gruesome and visceral and brought to life effectively.

A collection of places haunted in S. Calif. always interests me. It's the area I live in, and many in this collection I have visited.
It's a short and brief summary of various places, most are well known.
I loved the illustrated banner around the pages, very well done.
