so-soOne of the first #Steampunk novels I ever read was a really strange one. I love vampires, and I love Steampunk. You'd think this book would have been a hit for me, but it fell short of my expectations. The Griffiths take inspiration from fairy tales for these books; I didn't realize this was a take on Beauty & the Beast when I read it. The romance storyline didn't click for me, but the world-building is great. #vampires #VampireEmpire #fantasy
