This was between a So-So and a Pan. The actual stories of UAP are super cool, but this book gets so bogged down by government acronyms, and bureaucratic bullshit, I struggled to follow along. (56)

Great read about the mysteries of the Pacific Northwest! I live in Washington state if it helps.

The universe is unfathomably huge. Are we alone? A few books I‘ve read make me think about the idea of life out there in a scientific and sensible way. This one adds to the intrigue, focusing on UAPs—the US government‘s term for UFOs. The author quit his Pentagon job (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program) to share information with the public. Not ready to say I believe in aliens, but tell me more.

Chelsea.Poole This one really changed my way of thinking, though most astrophysicists disagree with Loeb, it‘s still an interesting read. 2mo

While the early chapters discuss UFOs and the closing chapter reveals a jaw-dropping explanation of the Roswell Incident, this book delves into more than just that.

With access to declassified info & interviews with those who were present at Area 51, Annie Jacobson provides a fascinating & detailed account of our government‘s efforts to conduct top-secret experiments in the realm of espionage & military warfare.

A shocking and fascinating read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon (UAP) sounds more mentally stable than UFO. Former Pentagon director of the now defunct Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, Luis Elizondo claims there is government proof of extraterrestrial life. This is all very clandestine and conspiratorial, yet some of it leaves you thinking way more about this than you maybe want to.

I never thought I‘d recommend a book about UFO/UAP on here, but Elizondo lays out the evidence clearly and constructively. Y‘all, I‘m shook. A must-read.

BarbaraBB Oh wow indeed. Tell me more 🤓 4mo
Megabooks @BarbaraBB V interesting. It made me wonder if this is the non-classified stuff, what is the classified stuff? He even described the possible technological innovations behind the UFOs from papers he the Pentagon had commissioned from scientists. Apparently there are “legacy programs“ where private corporations have material (both biological and non) from UFOs that are trying to reverse engineer it and don't have to share the info with government! 4mo
Megabooks @BarbaraBB He thinks the world (as in the whole world) deserves to know as much as they can share without compromising national security. Apparently, there are regular incursions in US air space as well as some ICBMs being turned on and off in the past. 😬 😱 Has there been in press/speculation in the Dutch media about this? 4mo
BarbaraBB Intriguing! There is a UFO reporting point in the Netherlands where people upload photos of strange lights and stuff in the sky. There are no official sources or agencies as far as I know. 4mo

The Day After Roswell | Philip Corso

I was watching a series, “Aliens Among Us”. One of the interviewees mentioned this book. Written by a US Army colonel in charge of Roswell crash debris/technologies. Colonel Corso‘s job at the pentagon was leaking technologies into society by releasing them to companies to reverse engineer. He claims this explains a huge boom in technology since the 1950s & similar crashes in Russia advanced their technologies. Maybe this is still happening today?

Given Oppenheimer‘s Oscar wins, felt timely to read this book finally. 🎥
