I read this excellent YA novel during my class's SSR (silent sustained reading) time, so it took longer than it usually would have . . . because it was SO. Good. I just wanted to devour it! Federle has crafted a wonderful protagonist in Quinn, a teenager dealing with life and the death of his sister and first love and his dreams, all in a realistic and engaging way. Wonderful book.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I LOVED this book! I was pulled in from the first page and just adore Nate. Normally with a middle-grade read I only read the 1st one in the series to have an idea about it so I can make recommendations, but I need to hear more about Nate's story. #TimFederle tells this story with heart and humor. It's all too true that many kids today deal with the same harassing Nate gets being unsure of his sexuality.
