A solid volume, though probably my least favorite so far. I‘m not a huge fan of Yuri and he‘s in this one a lot. However, Anya is adorable and hilarious as always. 3.5⭐️

This exceptionally well-crafted spy thriller follows Amanda Cole, deputy station chief in Rome, as she becomes embroiled in an investigation to uncover the truth behind an assassination. Her work is complicated by the realization that her father, a former CIA field agent turned PR hack, has secrets from his final assignment in Helsinki. This novel was engrossing, suspenseful & hard to put down--I will definitely look for other books by this author

5/5🌟 - I recently started this series (currently reading vol 5) and it is so adorable! The Forger family is so cute together and I can‘t wait for them all to realize they love each other and are the perfect family. I am devouring this series and I am already dreading the hang over that hits when I catch up to the current volume.

TracyReadsBooks Love this series! When you get caught up, you can always watch the show if you haven‘t already. It is equally delightful! 3w

I'm really enjoying the series. Well written, fascinating characters, particularly Lamb, and lots of excitement with twists and turns.

Having live through and watching the fall of the Berlin Wall while also being scared 💩-less by my older brother of impending nuclear annihilation by the Soviet Union as a child, this book was a fascinating behind-the-(Iron)-Curtain look into just exactly how the West was able to curtail Russian paranoia and ultimately dismantle generations of mistrust. One man sacrificed everything in pursuit of freedom.

Awk_Word_Smith MacIntyre did well not to paint Gordievsky as a saint nor a martyr. He sacrificed his family, his wife and two daughters. His wife never forgave him, and he was a stranger to his two young girls nearly a decade after his escape from Moscow. He is a lonely man now, forever in the crosshairs of the vengeful ex-KGB officers who line the halls of power in the Kremlin today, including the dictator himself Putin. 1mo

This was quite fun! I never connected as much as I hoped I would, but I still appreciate the adventure, camaraderie, and silliness.
