Martha was the daughter of Welsh immigrants who came to America as converts to the LDS religion. She grew up in the late 1800's in Utah. She was fascinated by the human body and persisted against the more of the time that women didn't become⬇️

Crazeedi physicians. Her struggles to forge her own path is truly inspiring. She was persecuted for her marriage to a man who practiced polygamy. She endured prejudice in her career, but never lost her courage or her principles. An excellent book and recommend highly. 5y
