This book definitely took me back to high school and being so stupidly in love. The “adult” me cringed at the memories of my HS self and at Eleanor and Park‘s “love”. But, their story was cute, innocent and heartwarming. I wished there was more to the subplot or more character development, but I still enjoyed it for what it was. I wonder though if I‘m ever going to find a YA book that I‘ll just love. Gotta keep looking...

I did it! Finished this one a few minutes ago. Read most of it on the beach this beautiful fall weekend. Sometimes I get envious of everyone's cozy fall posts then I remember I get beach weekends year round and I'm good. Happy Fall! 🍂🍁
