This collection does an amazing job at spanning multiple eras of the Star Wars universe and offering tons of easter eggs for long time fans while still telling a story accessible to more casual readers. The art is consistently pretty good among multiple artists. One thing that seems to be missing from certain modern era Star Wars stories is the enduring sense of hope; thankfully, this collection never loses the sense of hope.

This will forever be my first Star Wars book and the one that really got me into the fandom. I was so fascinated by the Sith back then, so this was a perfect read 10 years ago.
Now I rate it as a soft pick, because the beginning was too slow for me now. But the more the story went on, the more I got into it. It's different reading the book now that I know more about the Star Wars universe.

Econ‘s book in this trilogy. I liked it but not loved it. It is a short book and some parts were a little bit confused and then an abrupt ending. I still enjoyed the audiobook. 3⭐️

repost for @BookwormAHN

In May we learned about the tragedy of Darth Plagueis and why we don't trust Siths. I enjoyed it. What did everyone else think?
Moving on to June we meet up with some of our favorite Scoundrels. I've been looking forward to this one.
As always if anyone wants to be added or removed just let me know. And May the Force Be With You Always 🚀

Not listed in the database, but I really enjoyed Darth Vader: Black, White and Red. How much story can you get out of an unstoppable force tearing its way through the galaxy? At least 4 issues! There is a main story that runs through all four issues, plus two additional shorts in each. Fun seeing different takes on Vader, and different artists. I especially liked this look of Vader in the rain!

📚📚📚📚📚 This should be renamed Darth Sidious or The Rise of Palpatine because it‘s basically his story. Easily makes him my 3rd most favorite character in the SWU. Totally recommend the audio version too. #litsystarwarsbuddyread #starwars (May 2024)

📚📚📚📚📚 Iskat Akaris is my spirit animal. I didn‘t realize that I‘d basically read the end of this novel when I read Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith #20 earlier this year. Loved Iskat‘s development and general dissatisfaction with the Jedi. (Late post April) #litsystarwarsbuddyread #starwars

📚📚📚📚 Action forward and includes insider peak to video game too. Some of the side stories needed stronger development and connection to the main plot. (Late post for March)
