#Recognition

The Vampire Lestat | Anne Rice

“All the stories I have told you are finally as useless as all ancient knowledge is to man and to us. Its images and its poetry can be beautiful; it can make us shiver with the #recognition of things we have always suspected or felt. It can draw us back to times when the earth was new to man, and wondrous. But always we come back to the way the earth is now.” #QuotsyApr21

The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats
(RF)
Award: Caldecott Medal

This is a lovely read for students. A boy went on a snow adventure and had a wonderful time in his own. He played and played with the snow until it was time to go home: before he had gotten home, he rolls up 2 snowballs for later, but little did he know they would eventually melt!

We all do things with our best interest, it's important to share stories about #hope and #recognition.

DrSpalding Yes to title, summary, award and genre. Add the necessary pieces noted in your rubric. 7y
DrSpalding Sidenote: I have ordered fake snow that turns cold to the touch and used this in a science lesson. It‘s so cool… Get it? 😆 7y
