Celestine North is flawed and has to figure out how to live in society as a flawed person. I loved the short chapters. It definitely helped with the pacing of the book, which I felt was perfect. I wanted to read the whole book in one sitting so I could find out what was going to happen.

⭐⭐⭐My first Khaled Hosseini book. I don't normally read these types of books, so I didn't enjoy it. It was well written, but I didn't care about the characters or what was happening. This doesn't mean it was bad, I've heard a lot of great things about this book and author. It just wasn't the right time for me.
