I think this book could be used in many ways in the classroom. It can create conversations about the importance of being patient, and it can also teach about the importance of having a journey rather than just focusing on the destination.
This book revolves around four characters who each are waiting for different things and share their perspectives and experiences. This but teaches children what it means to wait and how waiting can seem like a challenge, but it can lead to big joys and new discoveries.
This is a story that I clearly remember my mother reading to me as a child, so it was nice to reading it again. This is a story with a great message that transcends though time. I the illustrations in this copy were really good and I really enjoyed them.
Traditional literature
The vocabulary in this book can be more educational for students that are younger. As well as there being bigger words throughout that describe certain things.

This book is a good identification of how students can share from the bear's perspective of giving to the other animals.
