so-soHere is the thing about this book. It sells itself as being hilariously funny- and it just isn't, at least not to me, and man would a little humor have helped out a lot. Much more often, the author was bored and distanced from what she was experiencing on her exploration, which is a weird thing to write a memoir about. I never really understood what she was looking for. It was solidly meh beginning to end.
