This was a fun thriller about the past coming back to haunt a woman (in STEM!) when an old friend shows up at her lab as a new employee. Overall not quite what I expected, but worth the read.

High recommendation for this atmospheric, feminist mystery—love the alternation between past and present to develop the protagonist‘s story.

I liked it, but felt it was predictable and not very suspenseful. Also the world of gymnastics is intense.
