Mehso-so

Not quite what it says on the tin as it is very focussed on how Kierkegaard disagreed with Hegel. I found it very heavy going till I read the relevant chapter of “Sophie's World“ to orientate me.

#PoetryMatters Day 1: #Torment - not exactly a poem but alludes to poets, so tangentially related. 🤣😅😂

I enjoyed this artistic biography of Denmark‘s most famous philosopher. Simon Vance‘s narration is particularly engaging. S.K. was a prolific writer about everything but focused on theology and individualism. He was also a weird, sad guy who probably wouldn‘t have written anything if therapy was widely available in the 1840s. Kierkegaard‘s hair style is 5 stars though! 🤩

Crazeedi I definitely am adding to my tbr, I've always liked Kierkegaard 1y

An ever relevant essay. Highly recommend to any fellow pessimist who has a distaste for Hegel.

marleed Oh great idea! And here I was thinking that passing on a philosophy book was sufficient enough… thinking people would assume I‘d read it ;) 3y
