A short book of very short, very off-the-wall stories. These stories each take a little random idea and answer the question, what if this little random idea happened in real life? Delightfully bizarre.

Check out the gorgeous book covers my spouse got me for Christmas! He wrapped them around library books he got from deep in my TBR list, as is our tradition (the library books...the book covers are a new thing). I'm told there are a bunch more coming in, but so far, I have the tagged, plus Tailchaser's Song by Tad Williams and Haven by Emma Donoghue. Perfect for #ReadOutTheOld!
Adeena Sussmans gorgeous new cookbook ,recipes from her Israeli kitchen.Fresh delicious food that I can‘t wait to cook.An eye catching cookbook that I will be dipping in and out of.
A 17-year-old girl lies about an attempted assault. She doesn‘t do it with ill intentions, somehow gets sucked into the lie&her life after the lie changes so positively that she feels she can‘t say the truth. She‘s the main liar in the novel, but all characters lie. Some lies are bigger, some smaller.Wonderful thought-provoking book, builds tension until the end, provides insight into the psychology of humans, raises questions of moralsðics.
In the beginning of reading this book by a noted Israeli author, I thought I wouldn‘t like this story because of the disagreeable main character. He‘s sort of growing on me, though. Maybe because of his grouchiness! 😄

Amos Oz gives us a life and a story of Israel, in fascinating and tragic ways.
Other T‘s:
The Tempest-Shakespeare
Their Eyes Were Watching God-Zora Neale Hurston
A Train in Winter-Caroline Moorehead
The Trophies of Time: English Antiquarians of the Seventeenth Century-Graham Parry (if this title interests, this book is everything that title promises. It‘s terrific.)
I enjoyed these quirky and often strange stories. However, most of them were very brief and felt like vignettes rather than actual stories, leaving me feeling somewhat unsatisfied with them..
Second book finished for the #AwesomeApril readathon! @Andrew65

I just came across this book which I received from a member of #LibraryThing over ten years ago! I thought it was about time to read it so I began it today for a LibraryThing challenge to read a book by an #Israeli or Palestinian author.
