A short book of very short, very off-the-wall stories. These stories each take a little random idea and answer the question, what if this little random idea happened in real life? Delightfully bizarre.

He wrapped them around library books he got from deep in my TBR list, as is our tradition (the library books...the book covers are a new thing). In the beginning of reading this book by a noted Israeli author, I thought I wouldn‘t like this story because of the disagreeable main character. He‘s sort of growing on me, though. Maybe because of his grouchiness! 😄

I enjoyed these quirky and often strange stories. However, most of them were very brief and felt like vignettes rather than actual stories, leaving me feeling somewhat unsatisfied with them..

I just came across this book which I received from a member of #LibraryThing over ten years ago! I thought it was about time to read it so I began it today for a LibraryThing challenge to read a book by an #Israeli or Palestinian author.
