I honestly was not a fan of this title that looks at the aftermath of a school shooting and a girl who knew what the boys were thinking. It perfectly fits with the hard lessons prompt, and is popular enough to be reprinted 3 time. I just didn't care for it. I'm struggling to come up with a book with #hardlessons, so I'm going to have a cop-out answer and say I learned a hard lesson when I opened this book and realized that Mariah Carey's Christmas original will now be stuck in my head until December.
