This was a cute friends-to-lovers Christmas romance. Will and Abbie have both been harboring feelings for the other for years but finally Will is going to do something about it. I liked both characters but wished they were more honest from the start, it was a little frustrating watching them both hide their feelings, worrying they would scare the other one off. I loved the quirky grandma and her cats 🐈

I usually love a friend to lovers books, but I got a little frustrated with the dynamic between Jasmine and Rahul and how long it took in their friendship before they really communicated.

Poppy has the dream job of writing for a magazine that advertizes travel. She gets to go all around the world on vacation to write advertisements for each place. But it‘s not enough for her. She wants love, and her closest manfiend is the perfect person, but she has competition and they aren‘t sure if they are the ones for each other. This is mostly a fun bubbly love story, but there are a few serious parts and awkward parts.

Listened to this one over the summer (probably while packing). Like most Christina Lauren books it follows a similar pattern. It was a sweet story but there were some sad parts. CL books are always an easy, fun listen.

Finished this a while ago with the #littensloveromance group. I enjoyed it immensely. Very character-driven, which I don't mind, but I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and something to happen to ruin their idyllic holiday, which never really did. Solid found family vibes, looking forward to the next Earl's story when it comes out next May.
