CSeydel @dabbe As you should! And yes, as a longtime southern Californian I meant the weather comic as a metaphor for my mood more than the outdoor conditions (I turn 50 this year, so … you know … 🥵) It‘s like being a teenager again but not in any of the fun ways 😭 (edited) 8mo

This was such a fun series to read with my kids. It‘s a lot like Toy Story, where a group of toys goes on adventures when their owner isn‘t there. My youngest couldn‘t stop giggling at parts, particularly with Lumphey the Buffalo.

First up for my #GNReadathon are 2 of the bad kitty graphic novels. I have a fondness for black cats because of my cat Chipper 🐈‍⬛ and I read some of these board books to Jace and thought they were funny. So I grabbed these 2 from the library. As a cat lover there is lots to relate to here about cats not wanting to take a bath 😆 These are great for kids 8+. 4⭐️
