Pickpick

This book was even better the second time around. It‘s a wonderful, funny, entertaining reminder to fight the good fight. I can only imagine what he‘d be saying now if he were still with us in 2025. This book would never be read or taken seriously by a conservative audience, but it absolutely should be. If nothing else, this is a prime example of why conservatives are so afraid of history and historians.

GingerAntics Original Review: This book is funny and entertaining, but also so very important. It addresses some of the hypocrisy of modern conservative thought regarding the constitution along with the actual history on the subject. This book is most assuredly not for a conservative audience. 3d

“The Bible was never meant to be a means of competitive soundness, still less a mere resource for theological information. It is meant to transform us—by deepening our knowledge and love for Christ.”

“Rubbing shoulders with those who are different from me constantly challenges my own thinking and, at its best, sends us all back to the Scriptures to see what they teach.”

repost for @TheAromaofBooks:

Hey friends!! So I've been looking at my life and my upcoming schedule, and I am going to pause #RandomClassics definitely for January, and maybe longer, kind of depending. I still have a huge list of classics I would like to read, and I have really enjoyed reading these with you all, but for now I need to skip a month!! I'll let everyone know when I am ready to pick back up again!!

TheAromaofBooks Thank you for reposting!! 4mo
