I am on a self-imposed reading hiatus for the next few weeks. I desperately need to stop procrastinating and actually study for my CT board exam, which I‘ll take in about 2 months. If given the choice, funnily enough I tend to choose reading for pleasure over studying 🤷‍♀️ but not anymore, it‘s really too distracting. Though it actually sometimes physically hurts me to think I won‘t be reading for fun any time soon 😭 #readinghiatus #CT

BeckaroniAndCheese I wish we had snow days. I won‘t complain because it‘ll be 75 degrees today but an unexpected day off would be delightful! I‘m spending my morning getting a mammogram. Not my top choice but we gotta do what we gotta do. 7y

Jess7 I didn‘t read this post close enough — I‘m an attorney in Cincinnati, OHIO - so nope we didn‘t get the day off - but there was ALOT of snow on my car this morning outside of my house that I had to clean off. It wasn‘t fun and I‘ve been jealous all day at all the people that were off today. 🤣 (edited) 7y

RinaBrahmbhattBarot @Jess7 I used to live in Columbus, and agree, at best they used to send my hubby home early but in NYC (due to subway) it's safe not to take any risks and let people off early. All kids had no school today as well! 7y
