Dennis Nilsen was absolutely twisted. I wish this book would have spent some more time talking about his victims and a little less time talking about Nilsen‘s self pity and self promotion. Either way, this particular nut job has since died so there is that consolation. The book is also about the author, Russ Coffey, and his correspondence with Nilsen. It was interesting and a quick read, but it could have used some more editing in a few places.

Investigation Discovery has declared this “Serial Killer Week.” 6 days of true crime documentaries. One of my favourite actors, David Tennant, plays Dennis Nilsen in a true crime drama, and I decided this was the perfect time to learn about the lunatic he plays before the show comes out later in September.
