

I haven‘t read the original, but I know this takes an already a very conversational tone geared to YA readers & makes enough changes to the language to scale it down well for MG. You do loose ALLOT of the subtler/more erudite content, but you end up with a book on anti racism written in clear language, based in historical fact, & determined to carry a hopeful tone throughout that seems like the perfect intro to this topic for many young readers

LibrarianRyan What I love about this book is they put it out in 3 version. The original, Stamped, and Stamped (for Kids). That just shows how important books like this are! It's on my list to read as well. 3y
