pickThis book was a great read. A tremendous story about two girls who lose their family and the fight to find them again. It occurs during the Dust Bowl. I think this story would have been great even without the present time chapters but the last few present time chapters really tie well into the story and I can see why she had them. But her past time chapters were wonderful and could have carried the story.
