pick
This is the first time I have picked up an Agatha Christie novel and I'm wondering what took me so long?!
This was her debut novel introducing Hercule Poirot and it was a great read. It had all the characteristics of a good murder mystery and I especially enjoyed that Hercule gave the reader all the same clues that he had and left it up to the reader to figure out, if they can. I thought I had it figured out and then they threw me for a loop! 4🌟

wanderinglynn Hercule Poirot is a great character. I also like her Tommy & Tuppence series. (edited) 7y
Chellebearss @wanderinglynn she has so many that it‘s hard to choose! I‘ve heard good things about Miss Marple series as well. 7y

1001BooksPodcast I think my favorite are Murder on the Orient Express and And Then There Were None. I love a lot of the stand alone ones as well. I love her because there are so many there‘s always another one to read! Great way to get out of a reading slump. 7y
Chellebearss @1001BooksPodcast I‘ve always wanted to read Murder on the Orient Express but feel I should read the rest of the series first #seriesproblems 7y
1001BooksPodcast @Chellebearss I understand that compulsion! These ones can definitely be read out of order though if you want to! 7y
Chellebearss @1001BooksPodcast that‘s great to know, thanks! I‘ll try and get to it sooner since it doesn‘t have to read in order 7y
